Here are the 5 questions our Deep Play Group discussed:
1 ) Talk about specific passages that struck you significantly.
2) What surprised you most? What contradicted your current understanding?
3) What were your main takeaways from the book?
4) What are the implications for teaching and learning?
5) What have you learned? What ideas will you apply to your current context?

Part 1: Putting Play into PD and
Part 2: The DeepPlay Newsletter
My deep play group and I have created a professional development to learn about routines and strategies that foster Visible Thinking using Chalk Talk. This PD would be available to approximately 25-50 teachers who are looking to learn more about establishing an understanding of routines and strategies for students to make their thinking visible. I specifically collaborated with group members on the newsletter, agenda, and development of the professional development activities which would occur over a 2-hour span.
